I build internal tools and workflow automation. A lot of that work starts with watching someone repeat the same steps in Figma and wondering how much of it I could automate. Sometimes that turns into a small plugin. Sometimes it gets rather bigger than I intended.
This is where I’ll write about those projects: what people needed, what I built, and what happened once they tried to use it. There will be code and screenshots where they help explain a decision. I also want to include the things I removed, the features nobody used, and the ideas that seemed sensible until I had to maintain them.
Much of the work is around design systems and documentation. I’m also building with coding agents and making tools they can operate, which gives me a new set of things to figure out.
I expect most posts will be case studies. Writing them should help me understand my own work a little better. Hopefully some of it will be useful to you too.
